Amazon Fire HD 10 (2026, 4GB RAM, 32GB)

The Fire HD 10 (2026 refresh) is a 10.1-inch Full HD tablet built for the jobs where an iPad is overkill: visitor sign-in, a menu board, a simple kiosk or a break-room screen. The July 2026 refresh moved the 32GB black model to 4GB of RAM; other colours and the 64GB option remain the 2023 3GB hardware, so check the exact variant. The one thing to know is that Fire OS has no Google Play.

Is the Fire HD 10 good enough for a small business?

• 10.1-inch 1080p screen and a manufacturer-quoted battery of around 13 hours.
• Android line-of-business apps must come from the Appstore built into Fire OS or be sideloaded; test your app before buying several.
• The base unit shows lock-screen ads; removing them costs $15.
• 4GB of RAM is workable for a kiosk, not for multitasking.

No manufacturer list price exists separately from the retailer, so the listing reads: See current price on Amazon. It appears in our 10-person office tech kit; the Apple iPad (A16) is the step up in the everyday tech category.

Who should skip it

Anyone who needs Google Play apps, a productivity tablet or Apple Pencil-style input should buy the iPad instead.
