The Framework Desktop is a 4.5-litre mini-ITX PC on AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with 128GB of unified memory, sold as a DIY Edition you assemble. It suits developers who want official Linux support. The one thing to know: unified memory lets it load large mixture-of-experts models; dense 70B models crawl and there is no CUDA.
Anyone who wants a built, supported machine: the HP Z2 Mini G1a. Anyone whose AI is a cloud chatbot: see AI computing or the GMKtec EVO-X2.
